3. Tell us about a time that confirmed why you love being an interior designer?

Tracy: “Honestly, there are so many early memories from being a child that I recall crystal clear, and they all have to do with my mom’s interior styling and how she decorated our home or how excited I would get about redesigning my childhood bedroom.”

4. Your favorite space to design?

Tracy: “Definitely the dining room!”

Tracy: “A jute rug goes with just about any room when it comes to styling, and it’s okay to use trends. I think a lot of people shy away from trends … but if you like it, go for it!”

8. How would you define the creative process?

Tracy: “I literally drive through the neighborhood, walk in the house (project), and the ideas of how I want the whole house to look come together. There may be some tweaking later but, for the most part, I think the home itself sets the tone which is great because all projects are so different.”
